Privacy

For a company arguing that architecture beats policy, an inaccurate privacy policy would be an existential error rather than a legal footnote. So this describes what actually happens, and it is written from the implementation rather than before it.

This website

If you join the waitlist we store three things: your email address, yourZIP code, and your first name. Email so we can tell you when Luna ships. ZIP so we know which cities to open first. First name so the emails read like a note rather than a broadcast. Nothing else, and every field except email is optional.

We also record a referral code if you arrived through someone else's link, so we can move them up the queue. That is the whole record.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track you across sites. We do not use Google Analytics. We do not use Google reCAPTCHA. A company whose argument is that surveillance is the problem should not ship surveillance scripts on its own home page, and you should check that we have not.

We will not sell your address, rent it, share it, enrich it against a data broker, or hand it to an advertising platform. You can have it deleted by replying to any email from us, and deletion means the row is gone rather than flagged.

Luna and the Luna Dock

This section describes the shipping product. Luna is not shipping yet, so treat this as the specification we are building to and hold us to it.

Video is recorded to the Luna Dock, on your property, encrypted end to end from first boot. Threat detection runs on dock hardware. Footage is never uploaded to us to be processed, because there is no server-side inference path.

We hold no decryption keys. We therefore cannot read your footage, cannot produce it under subpoena or warrant, and cannot be pressured or acquired into producing it. Legal process is served on you, the owner of the data.

There is no law enforcement portal, no bulk request tool, no agency dashboard and no voluntary sharing programme. The aircraft is geofenced to your parcel in firmware, and the camera points down and inward while it is moving, so neighbouring property is not captured at all.

The full and versioned list is at /commitments/v1. It is versioned so that any future change is diffable by a stranger rather than quietly edited.

Email

You will get a confirmation when you join, a short note every few months, an email when something genuinely happens, and one when Luna ships. Every message carries a one-click unsubscribe and our postal address, as US law requires. There is no drip sequence and no re-engagement campaign.
